Janine Andrew

To create my pieces, I start out with a wedge of fine porcelain or stoneware clay, then roll it out, cut and form a shape, and paint each one with a design that is inspired by my garden, country life….or subjects that appeal to me. Each piece is fired in my kiln, some requiring up to three firings.

Having spent many years as a graphic designer, I combine that knowledge of design and color with my life-long love of painting to create a miniature piece of art in each creation.
