Bill McNerney

'Crystal Bill' has trained in a variety of pottery, jewelry, glass and bronze sculpture workshops, continues experimenting amongst a variety of materials. Bill is a member of the Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois, and the PMC Guild. He first learned jewelry techniques back in the early eighty's in dental school, now preferring not to make things look like teeth. Yet many of the techniques useful to intricate dental work immediately apply to jewelry fabrication. Whether it be the sparkle of glass, or the preciousness of metalre, all the pieces are meant to express Bill's curiosity and wonderment about the world around us. Or as put by the Livingstone Studio: 'Celebrating the creative spirit within us all!'
