Having worked in mixed media for over forty years, I seem to always return to the doll. The process of making dolls is always theraputic and gives me a sense of peacefulness. I watch young and old alike in my workshops making dolls and see them overcome barriers, there is always a sense of excitement as I see the inner selves create the outer selves in the form of a doll. The human connection takes place and smiles abound...hearts are happy.... a simplicity and connectedness takes place in a short span of time. The doll is a safe place to go to be oneself...I give myself permission to play in this arena. My own work is often whimsical and lighthearted.......... I work off the cuff with no big plan in mind ....let yourself visit this place.....you might be surprised.
